What Is a Manufacturer Warranty?
A manufacturer warranty is a type of guarantee that a manufacturer (not the dealer) provides regarding the condition of its product. This warranty also outlines the terms and situations in which repairs or exchanges will occur if the product does not function as originally described or intended.
For any warranty service(s), buyers are responsible for shipping or towing their vehicle to our facility. Please note that any outside repair labor charges, downtime, towing, or shipping costs are not covered under the warranty coverage.
"Comprehensive" or "tire-to-tire" coverage indicates that all non-wearable components of a bike are covered under the manufacturer warranty. Non-wearable components include items that do not naturally wear down as the scooter is used, such as transmission belts, engine oil, gear oil, cables, light bulbs, brake pads, paint finishes, chains, racks, brake fluid, tires, and tubes. These items must be replaced periodically during scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal scooter service.
Parts Only Warranty:
If a defective part or issue is identified, you can claim a defective part under the manufacturer warranty. You will receive the replacement part, but please be aware that these warranties do not cover the labor to remove or install the defective part. Only the part itself will be replaced.
Deductible:
The deductible is the amount paid out of pocket by the owner. In most cases, the warranty will cover the replacement part but not the labor costs. In such instances, the dealer may, as a courtesy, cover part of the labor cost, which may incur a deductible.

Tao Tao:
- The manufacturer warranty offers a maximum of 6 months for parts only on the engine, 3 months for the drive train, and 30 days for electrical components. Please note that the manufacturer warranty does not cover plastics, paint, body parts, accessories, chains, wheels, tires, batteries, bearings, ball joints, or any wearable parts. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect is also not included. Additionally, the manufacturer warranty does not cover labor associated with repairs or shipping costs for warranty parts to and from the manufacturer; the buyer will be responsible for these costs.
Wolf Brand Scooters:
- This scooter service includes a limited parts-only warranty of two (2) years or ten thousand (10,000) miles, whichever comes first. There is also a two (2) year limited warranty on the battery and frame. The internal engine and transmission parts of on-the-road vehicles are covered for one (1) year, while all other parts, excluding wearable items, also have a one (1) year limited warranty. Warranty coverage must be handled through the dealer where the products were purchased, and it includes both parts and labor for all warrantable repairs.
Bintelli:
- With one of the best warranties available, Bintelli offers a two (2) year limited warranty on all components. The battery and frame are covered for two (2) years, while all other components not specified in the “limitations of liability” are covered for one (1) year. A deductible may apply, but there is no mileage limitation attached to this warranty. It’s important to mention that the warranty does not cover minor surface rips, tears, scrapes, blemishes, or other cosmetic damages from normal use or intentional damage. Bintelli reserves the right to alter this document at any time without notice.
Amigo:
- This manufacturer warranty provides a 24-month or 1500 miles (whichever comes first) parts-only warranty on the engine, alongside a 12-month or 1500 miles parts-only warranty on transmission components. There is a 6-month or 750 miles (whichever comes first) parts-only warranty on any chassis/suspension, a 90-day limited parts-only warranty for the battery and limited electrical system (excluding alarms or USB charging ports), and a 30-day fuel system warranty.
Scoot Scoot:
- We offer a 15-day or 100-mile (whichever comes first) warranty with a $0 deductible. This warranty is managed in-house as a courtesy against craftsmanship defects. We stand behind our product and are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. However, it is important to note that this warranty does not cover accidents, modifications, or unauthorized repairs. According to Massachusetts law, we are not obligated to provide any warranty, so this warranty serves more as a satisfaction warranty.

All Warranties Disclosure: “limitations of liability”
No warranty coverage will extend to damages caused by the use of improper chemicals or cleaners applied to the unit. Any misdiagnosis leading to an improper repair is not covered under the manufacturer warranty. Unapproved modifications will void the warranty. Furthermore, reimbursement will not be granted for towing, loss of time, loss of use, inconvenience, or any consequential or inconsequential damages. The warranty only covers manufacturer defects, and any damage due to misuse, neglect, or failure to maintain the product will not be included. Standard wearable parts, including belts, tires, brake pads, spark plugs, fluids, bulbs, body panels, and other expendable parts, are also excluded from warranty coverage. The warranty does not apply to units used for rental purposes, and transportation damage is not covered unless noted on the delivery slip at the time of signing. All maintenance expenses are the responsibility of the end user, and no coverage will be provided for damages caused by acts of God such as tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, or fires. Any engine damage resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, over-revving, or improper usage on highways and long trips will also not be covered under warranty. The determination of misuse will be made by the dealer or distributor. Dealers may charge a diagnostic fee or deductible for any warranty work performed.

Please be aware of what is and is not included in your manufacturer warranty coverage. If you have any questions, send a Warranty Request Email regarding your scooter service, and we will promptly get back to you.
